Doon Village Christmas - Weihnachten im Doon Village Museum

On the Carriage, bei der Schlittenfahrt.

We spent a lovely afternoon together with Cary and her kids at the Doon Village Museum and everything of course was all about Christmas (Horse drawn carriage ride, cookies, hot apple cider, Christmas Carols etc).

Two Carollers were set up in the Church and sang all kinds of beautiful Christmas carols, the kids joined them for the last song of the day (Silent Night) and Lisa then sang the 1st verse of the German Version and was totally proud of herself (and so was I).

We all loved it.

Wir verbrachten einen schoenen Nachmittag gemeinsam mit Cary und ihren Kindern im Doon Village Museum und natuerlich drehte sich alles nur um Weihnachten in der alten Zeit.

Eine Kutschenfahrt, Keksis, Heissen Apfelsaft, Weihnachtslieder etc). 

In der Kirche wurden Weihnachtslieder von zwei Maedls gesungen (mit Klavierbegleitung) und Lisa hat zum Schluss ganz alleine Stille Nacht gesungen, voll lieb und sie war so stolz drauf (und ich auch).
