Love the instant result of picking up plants at the Farmers Market and plugging them in. Mind you, I also seeded Carrots and they are coming in nicely too already. I will continue planting Lettuce plants and seed over the course of the summer, you can never have enough lettuce. This years bounty will consist of green Cucumbers, purple Kohlrabi, Carrots, Peas, Boston and Red Leaf Lettuce, Cherry Tomatoes, 2 different Hot peppers and some sweet Peppers. Rhubarb and lots of different Chives.
Wir sind zum Bauern Markt und haben uns wie jedes Jahr ein paar Pflaenzchen abgeholt und gleich eingepflanzt. Unser Gemuesegarten wird uns sicher wieder reich beschenken und zwar mit, Gruenem und Roten Salat, Karotten, Kohlrabi, Erbsen, Cocktail Tomaten, 2 verschiedene scharfe Paprika, 1x suessen Paprika, Gurken, Rhabarba, Kraeuter und verschiedene Melissen sorten sowie Sauperampfer.
We also found a new spot for our Composting Bin. The Compost Soil we took out of it was just awesome and got spread around in the veggie garden.
Wir haben unseren Komposter umgesetzt, jetzt bekommt er ein bisschen mehr Sonne und sollte somit etwas schneller arbeiten. Die Erde die wir rausholten war super und wurde natuerlich gleich im Gemuesegarten verteilt.
