The flight back went smoothly, the kids did well, only a few times did we get the obligatory question - are we there yet or how much longer. It sure was a long day though, we didn't get back to our house till 9 pm (3 am Austrian time tuesday morning, we had left Austria monday morning).
Wir sind wieder daheim. Der Rückflug verlief ohne Probleme, und wir wurden nur ein paar mal gefragt ob wir schon da sind oder wie lange es noch dauert, haha.
Wir sind am Montag vormittag abgeflogen und Dienstag um 3 in der früh bei unserem Haus angekommen. Jetzt kämpfen wir ein bisschen mit der blöden Zeitverschiebung, sind immer sehr früh auf, aber das wird sich schon legen, hoffentlich bald.
Ontario sure had been fighting with drought, we've never seen the lawns so dry and crisp, even our shady backyard is semi crunchy and it usually survives the heatwave without problems.
I quickly took a picture of our sold sign before they come and take it away - yes, its official, our house has sold. On July 4th, an easy date to remember as it is the same day Bernies parents got married.
Es gab kaum Regen seitdem wir weg waren und alles ist komplett vertrocknet und richtig knacksig wenn man auf die Wiese steigt, echt arg. Sogar unser Garten hinten ist recht trocken und normalerweise übersteht er solche trockenwellen ohne probleme, aber es war einfahch zu extrem, 3 Wochen ohne Regen hält niemand aus. Unten noch schnell ein Beweisfoto, unser Haus ist offiziell Verkauft, noch dazu am 4 Juli, genau am Hochzeitstag von Bernies Eltern.
Anyway, we're all unpacked and everything is stored away, the house got a once over to remove all the cat hair and I'll be tackling the garden hopefully soon, but its just to hot right now.
Es ist jetzt alles Ausgepackt und weggeräumt, das Haus ist auch wieder sauber und der Garten kommt auch bald dran, wenn es etwas kühler ist.
Indy and Vogi survived our trip without problems thanks to the great care of our friends Tanya, Dietmar, Mandy and Cary - thank you guys so much!!!!!
We got a little surprise when we got home, Vogi (who we didn't know what it would be down the road) turned out to be a GIRL, lol. And she can fly, which came as a big surprise to us. Now we got this crazy bird going all over the main floor, to funny to watch.
Indy und Vogi haben unseren Urlaub auch gut überstanden danks unserer Freunde Tanya, Dietmar, Mandy und Cary - Vielen Dank nochmals an euch alle!
Wir hatten noch ne kleine Überraschung als wir heimkamen, unser Vogi (wir wussten ja noch immer nicht was es ist, Mädl oder Bub) ist jetzt offiziell ein Mädchen, haha und fliegen kann sie jetzt auch.
