the night before - die Nacht davor

Wednesday was the big day for us all.  We got the keys shortly after lunch, got some other stuff done and then headed over to the new House to explored.

We've been running around ever since.   The Moving truck was booked for Saturday morning and we spent the next 2 days moving boxes over to the new house in our Van and Mazda Wagon.  Crazy how many boxes we had but we're glad we did them ahead of time.

Mittwoch wars endlich so weit, die Warterei hat ein Ende.  Die Schlüssel waren kurz nach 12 abholbereit und später sind wir dann alle zum Haus zum Anschauen.

Seitdem laufen wir rum wie die Verrückten.  Der grosse LKW kam am Samstag und bis dahin hatten wir alle boxen (ich glaub so um die 140 stk) fleissig wie Van und Mazda rübergeführt.

Verrückt wie viele boxen wir hatten, aber gut das wir sie vorzeitig schon rübergebracht hatten.

Friday night was a busy one.  We dismantled and wrapped up furnitures and got everything prepped for the moving truck.

Freitag abend war dann verrückt, alle Möbel mussten zerlegt werden und dann noch eingepackt oder gewickelt.

Indy watching the whole thing right in the middle of the floor, poor kitty was locked in the bathroom for the most time.  

Indy schaut ganz gelassen dem ganzen Trubel zu, die meiste zeit war der Arme aber im Badezimmer eingesperrt.

It was the biggest truck available (26 ft) and it took 2 complete full loads, crazy.

Es war der größte LKW den wir bekommen konnten (mit normalem Führerschein) und er wurde 2x komplett aufgefüllt.

We finally got to the relaxing part of the moving - Dinner and Party.  It took us 9 hrs with the help of Andreas, Dietmar, Drew, Martin, Matthias, Tanya and the two of us.  THANK you guys, we couldn't not have done it without you.  Also Thanks to Ingrid for watching our kids all day!

Nach dem ganzen Umziehen, gleich mal ne Party, ok Abendessen - Chinesisch, mhh.
Nach 9 Stunden übersiedeln mit der Hilfe von unseren Freunden Andreas, Dietmar, Drew, Martin, Matthias, Tanya (und wir zwei) hat man sich ein gemütliches hinsetzen verdient.  Danke nochmals an alle unsere Freunde und auch Ingrid die den ganzen Tag auf unsere zwei Kinder aufgepasst hat. Wir hätten es ohne euch nicht geschafft.
