Lisa and her Teeth - Lisa und ihre Zaehne

the never ending Story. Some of you might remember, Lisa had quite a bit of dental work done on her teeth when she was 3 years old. Now those teeth caused more problems again. Two teeth got infected with an abscess and needed to be pulled out.

We had an appointment booked for March but they called us Monday at lunchtime offering us a Wednesday 6:45 am appointment which we gladly took. Luckily, the teeth didn't cause her any pain but the sooner they came out the better.

So Wednesday came and I took her to the dentist in the early morning and everything went really well besides the fact that the abscess had already infected another molar so at the end she had 3 teeth to trade in to the Tooth fairy, for a little book, a CD and $ 2 per tooth. She recovered really fast again from the full anesthesia and was up and running again by late afternoon. The wholes are nicely healed already and she is showing everyone her missing teeth.

Lisa und ihre niemals endende Zahngeschichte. Die meisten von euch koennen sich sicher noch daran erinnern das Lisa, als sie 3 war, unter Vollnarkose ihre Zaehne hergerichtet bekommen hat. Naja, ein paar Jahre hats gehalten aber jetzt hatten sich leider Abzsesse unten zwei Backenzaehnen bebildet und sie mussten raus. Wir hatten einen Termin fuer Maerz aber am Montag rufte der Zahnarzt an und sagte sie koennte am Mittwoch und 6:45 in der Frueh schon drankommen (oh graus oh graus).

Naja, besser jetzt als spaeter also sind wir hin. Sie hat zum Glueck alles super ueberstanden, leider musste auch noch ein dritter Backenzahn raus weil sich der Eiterherd schon ausgebreitet hatte aber jetzt passt wieder alles. Kurz nach 9 waren wir wieder daheim und am spaet nachmittag ist sie wieder rumgelaufen wie wenn sie nie eine Vollnarkose gehabt haette - unsere tapfere kleine Lisa.

Am Abend haben wir dann die drei Backenzaehne untern Polster gelegt und in der frueh waren sie weg und stattdessen fand sie ein kleines Buch, eine CD und jeweils 2 dollar pro Zahn.
