London Children Museum - Kindermuseum in London

We started our March Break off with a trip to the London Children Museum. We all loved it, it has so many different areas, something for everyone. We started off in the Caves and digging for Dino bones.

Diese Woche waren Maerzferien fuer uns angesagt. Am Montag fuhren wir mit Adam, Cameron und Ingrid ins Kindermuseum in London (1 Std. westlich von uns). Was fuer ein tolles Museum. Als ersters gings gleich mal durch die Hoehlen in die Dinosaurier Zeit und die Kinder haben eifrig nach Knochen gegraben und gepinselt.

Dann ab in die Zeitmaschine und zurueck in die "alte" Schulzeit.

tried ourselves as Olympians and even got a Gold Medal on the Podium.

Spaeter sind die dann wie wild im Olympia Zimmer rumgeduest, gesprungen, haben Hockey gespielt und sich am Schluss sogar Gold Medaillen auf dem Podium verdient.

Rode the Fire Truck and tried on Fireman Outfits

and check out the little village with its Bank, Store, Gas - Police and Post Station and Restaurant.

Dann gings ab in die kleine Stadt um die Ecke um Bank, Geschaeft, Restaurant, Handwerker, Autowaesche, Polizei oder Postbote zu spielen.
Played in the Science Center with Puzzles, Weights and Scales, Fruits and Veggies, watched the inside of a Dishwasher wash (the boys loved that one)

Noch einen Stock weiter gabs dann das Wissenschaftszimmer und noch vieles mehr.

Der Geschirrspueler mit dem Sichtfenster und dem grossen Knopf zum einschalten war ganz beliebt.

Ein bissl Doktor spielen und X-Rays angucken.
And spent the afternoon in the Space Shuttle and in outer Space

und den rest vom Nachmittag wurde dann im Weltall verbracht.

The kids still has some energy left over after the three level trip through the Museum so they played outside for a while, while we watched and fed the Squirrel (the little whole in the Garbage can is the private entrance for the squirrel, it looked to cute).

Ueberraschenderweise hatten alle Kinder dann noch Energie uebrig und sie liefen draussen wie wild rum und wir schauten einem lieben Eichkatzi beim Mistkuebel stoebern zu und haben es mit Aepfel gefuettert (so was von suess).
The two little ones (Cameron and Logan) fell asleep on the drive home while Lisa and Adam goofed around on the backseats.

Beim Heimfahren sind die zwei kleinen (Cameron und Logan) dann eingeschlafen waehrend Lisa und Adam in der letzten Reihe rumgebloedelt haben.

It was a great daytrip and we will be going again for sure. By the way, you can use your membership from the KW Kids Museum at the London one as well. If not, its only $ 6.00 per person and free parking.

Im ganzen war es ein ganz toller Ausflug und wir fahren sicher wieder mal hin.
