Pinehurst End of Season - Pinehurst See Abschluss

What to do on a HOT sunday afternoon, of course we ran off to Pinehurst Lake and this time Rachel and her little dog Joey joined up. We also met up with Christine, Eve and Declan and the afternoon was perfect for all of us.

Na was macht man an einem Heissen Sonntag Nachmittag, natuerlich ab zum Pinehurst See und dieses mal mit Rachel und ihrem kleinen Hund Joey.  Christine, Eve und Declan trafen wir dann dort auch noch und der Nachmittag war super und lustig fuer uns alle.

I brought a blow up water chair back with us from Austria (should have been the blow up mattress, oh well).  I've tried the chair back in Austria and could not sit on it (Lisa had no problems balancing on it) and my Dad was the only one who lasted at least a few seconds on it (I kid you not, this chair is possessed, it only likes guys).  I didn't even bother to try it again but Bernie did and he did fairly well, a few seconds at a time, yay.   Its a comfy chair to sit on - on dry land only though.

Ich hab uns einen Wassersessel von Oesterreich mitgenommen (aus versehen, wollte eigentlich die Luftmatratze haben aber sie waren nicht beschriftet).  Ich hab schon in Oesterreich probiert darauf zu sitzen, ist einfach unmoeglich bei dem Ding. Lisa hatte keine Probleme und der einzige der ein paar Sekunden zusammengebracht hat war mein Vater.  Ich sags euch, der Sessel ist entweder verhext oder er mag Frauen nicht.  Ich hab ihn gar nicht mehr ausprobiert aber Bernie wagte sein Glueck und hat sogar ein paar Sekunden sitzen geschaft bevor der Sessel ihn Rueckwaerts rausgeschmissen hat, hahaha.

Der Sessel selber ist voll bequem, aber nur im Trockenen :O)

We thought this would be our last trip to Pinehurst but the Kids and I as well as Ingrid and her two sons managed to go swimming one more time before the cold weather hit us a few days ago.


Wir glaubten schon das das unser letzter Trip zum Pinehurst war aber die Kinder und ich sowie Ingrid und ihre zwei Buben habens nochmal unter der Woche geschaft bevor das kalte Wetter uns erwischt hat.
