California along the coast - an der Küste entlang

We continued our trip down the coast line, stopped at a Nature Reserve and observed a group of Seals with their little babies relaxed along the shore (it was fenced off to make sure they can give birth in peace)

Weiter entlang der Küste trafen wir dann auf eine Gruppe Robben mit ihren Babies. Zum Glück war alles abgezäunt damit sie in Ruhe ihre Babies haben können.

 Along the 17 Mile Drive, going through a really beautiful Golf course (how environmentally friendly is that).
Wir sind dann am 17 Mile Drive entlanggefahren mitten durch einen Golf Platz, sicher nicht das beste für die Umwelt so nahe an der Küste) aber die Gegend war einmalig.

On our way to the BIG SUR, encountering cows lazily enjoying the green grass sprinkled with a little salt from the ocean :0) with the Bixby Bridge coming up ahead.
The Bridge was build in 1932 and is a very popular spot for pictures.

Auf dem Weg zum BIG SUR park fotographieren wir noch mal schnell zwei faule Kühe die sich grünes grass mit ein bissl Meersalz zu gute kommen lassen. Im Hintergrund sieht man schon die Bixby Brücke die 1932 erbaut wurde.

We ran into a Couple from Austria while stopping to check out the Scenery and to take pictures.

Beim Fotographieren haben wir gleich wieder welche von der Heimat kennengelernt, Wiener unterwegs in Californien, haha.

Unfortunately we got into the Big Sur Park a bit to late to go for hikes and to explore, we where all tired and just wanted to get out of the endless winding roads and find a hotel which we did, late at night.

Leider gibts vom Big Sur park nicht wirklich fotos weil wir sehr spät weitergekommen sind und dadurch dann fast im dunklen durch sind und so bald wie möglich ein Hotel finden wollten, aber das nächste mal dann.

Haben schon lange nicht mehr so viele Vespas geshen

No idea where we stopped here, somewhere on the way, lol but the kids thought it was warm enough to jump in the waves, brrr, way to cold for us old ones but not for them.

Keine Ahnung wo wir da waren aber unsere zwei haben sich in die Fluten geschmissen, brrr, viel zu kalt für uns zwei Alten aber die Kinder hatten spass.
