Hiking trip - Wanderauflug

We stopped on our way to Kelso Park at the Niagara Escarpment at this little creek, took our shoes off and enjoyed the cool water.
Auf dem Weg zum Kelso Park (teil vom Niagara Felsengelaende) sind wir bei diesem kleinen Bacherl stehen geblieben. Schuhe aus und rein ins kuehle nass.

We went hiking along the escarpment to the lookout point and back. We hiked for an hour before we reached the lookout and an hour back and not once did the kids complain (ok, at the end, but only because Logan fell and scraped his knee).

Unsere Wanderung war teils durch den Wald und teils durch hohe Wiesen, wir sind eine gute Stunde unterwegs gewesen bevor wir zum Ausblick Platz gekommen sind, dort haben wir uns dann ein wenig mit Jausn und gute sachen gestaerkt und sind wieder Richtung Auto.

Die Kinder sind ganz brav mitgelaufen, ohne meckern was uns ueberrascht hat, ok, Logan hat am Schluss gemeckert, aber auch nur weil er hingefallen ist und sich ein wenig das Knie aufgekratzt hat.

We saw this really cool spider, a snake and lot of other nature things.

Wir haben viele tolle sachen gesehen, wie diese Bunte Spinne, eine Schlange und noch vieles mehr.

Lisa and Logan took turns taking pictures of us. 1st one is from Lisa and the second one from Logan.

Lisa und Logan haben sich abgewechselt beim Foto machen, das erste ist Lisas und das zweite Logans.

We went to the beach afterwards (in the same park) for a little bit more playtime and then off to bed.

Nachher sind wir dann noch zum Strand im gleichen Park und die Kinder durften schwimmen und dann gings heim ins Bett.
