Ottawa Easter trip - Osterausflug nach Ottawa

We combined a business trip to Ottawa with a little Road trip for all of us.  What can I say, the drive was smooth, the kids behaved, the weather was awesome, we saw lots of interesting things, had lots of fun and the Easter bunny even made it up to the 16th floor of our hotel, LOL.

Bernie musste aus Firmengruenden nach Ottawa und so haben wir seinen Trip gleich mit einem Familienausflug verbunden.  Was soll ich sagen, die Fahrt (6 std) war angenehm, die Kinder waren voll brav, das Wetter war ein Traum, wir haben uns viel angeschaut, hatten viel spass und der Osterhase hat es sogar bis in den 16ten Stock von unserem Hotel geschafft, verspaetet, aber besser als nie.

We got a really nice room, a one bedroom suite with balcony, view onto the river and the parliament and he sunset on our balcony, right in the hard of downtown Ottawa and a bonus, the hotel had a pool and a really cool water slide which was heavily used by our kids.

Unser Hotel war auch voll super, 16ter Stock mit Ausblick auf den Fluss und das Parlament und mit Sonnenuntergang auf unserem Balkon.  Direkt im Zentrum von Ottawa und oben drauf noch mit super Rutsche und Schwimmbecken was natuerlich ordentlich benutzt wurde von unseren zwei.

 We toured the Canadian Museum of Nature as well as the Parliament, walked around in the parks, checked out Byward Market and enjoyed some yummy pastries and the most delicious ice cream, watched a street magician and celebrated Easter Sunday with a nice breakfast at Cora (the kids got balloons and real colored easter eggs, yay)

Wir sind ins Naturhistorische Museum sowie eine Tour durchs Parlament, sind in den angrenzenden Parks rumgelaufen, genossen gute Kuchen beim Byward Markt (mhh, und die beste Eiscreme seit langem), einen Strassenzauberer haben wir auch gefunden und das Ostersonntagsfruehstueck gabs dann beim Cora mit Balloons und sogar echten gefaerbten Eiern fuer die Kinder.

The drive back was smooth as well but we were all happy to be home, we missed our Vogi and Indy to much. All in all, just an awesome trip.

Die Heimreise war auch gemuetlich aber wir waren dann alle wieder froh das wir daheim waren, wir haben ja Vogi und Indy schon so vermisst, aber einfach ein toller Ausflug (4 Tage).
